Section 01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information about your visit. We also use similar technologies like local storage and session storage. For brevity, we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
Section 02What we use cookies for
Pondmetric uses cookies for three purposes only:
- Essential operation. Keeping you signed in, remembering your dashboard preferences, and preventing fraud and abuse. These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function.
- Functional preferences. Remembering your timezone, currency, language, and the dashboard layout you've configured.
- Aggregate analytics. Counting visits to pondmetric.com so we know which pages are useful. We use privacy-respecting, self-hosted analytics (no third-party trackers).
We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, cross-site tracking, or profiling.

Section 04Third-party cookies
We use a small number of third-party services to operate the application:
- Stripe — when you visit the billing or checkout pages, Stripe may set cookies to prevent fraud and process payments. See Stripe's privacy policy for details.
- Cloudflare — Cloudflare may set cookies to provide DDoS protection and CDN performance. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
We do not embed Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, X (Twitter) Pixel, or any other advertising or behavioral tracker.
Section 05Your choices
You have several options for controlling cookies:
- Consent banner. When you first visit pondmetric.com, you'll see a consent banner letting you accept all cookies or just the essential ones.
- Browser settings. All major browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to the dashboard.
- Email us. Send a request to hello@pondmetric.com and we can clear server-side records of your consent state.
Section 06Changes to this policy
If we add, remove, or significantly change the cookies we use, we'll update this page and adjust the consent banner where appropriate. Material changes will be announced by email to active subscribers.
